Make a real difference in the lives of students! Lakes Country Service Cooperative (LCSC) is expanding its Lakes Country Academy (LCA) program to better serve students and families, including the opening of a new site in Moorhead, Minnesota! We are seeking Paraprofessionals to join our team.

Are you patient, compassionate, and ready to join our growing team? You will help K-12 students thrive in a supportive, highly individualized educational setting. Our students are referred by local school districts and benefit from a calm, structured environment designed to meet both academic and behavioral needs. We are looking for team players committed to helping every learner succeed.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting K-12 students in their learning, social, and emotional development.
• Helping implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Assisting with classroom instruction and behavioral support.
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive environment.
• Receiving on-the-job training and ongoing support.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent AND one of the following:
• 60+ college credits, OR completed associate degree, OR passing score on the ParaEducator or ParaPro exam (can be completed after hire within 30 days).
• Preferred: Experience working with students with challenging behaviors.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a passion for helping students succeed.

Salary and Benefits:

• Pay Range: $20.60 to $26.00 per hour depending on qualifications.

Location & Shift Times:

• Lakes Country Academy, Moorhead, MN.
• Start Date: December 1, 2026.
• Typical hours: 8:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 6.75 hours/day.
• Workdays: 180 days/year, aligned with the school calendar.
